Google has pulled Gemini 3 Pro out of its hat and, honestly, it looks like the first model that truly comes to fight (or outright surpass) everything that existed until now.
The short version: why it's such a beast
1. Free and powerful in Google AI Studio
You can use Gemini 3 Pro Preview for free inside Google AI Studio (Build section). What does it do there?
- You drop it a prompt and it builds complete apps for you: upload photos of apartments → it does virtual staging, empties spaces, gets the listing ready. It writes the real-estate copy based on target audience, tone, etc.
- It's also very good at designing modern landing pages: gradients, animations, solid responsive layouts, persuasive structure… The visual side is WAY above Gemini 2.5.
2. Insane benchmarks
The model card shows that:
- It crushes many multimodal reasoning, math and science benchmarks.
- It competes with or beats models like GPT-5.1 and Claude Sonnet 4.5 on several tests.
- With code execution it reaches 100% on some math tests.
In short: on paper, it's among the best (or the best) out there right now.
3. Super useful for devs
Via the Gemini API:
- It's great for agentic coding (using it inside an IDE or in "serious copilot" workflows).
- With a long prompt it generates things like a retro 3D mini-game in HTML/JS in a single shot.
If you were getting a bit tired of the AI hype, Gemini 3 comes to do exactly the opposite: it raises the level and sets the bar VERY high again.
Have you tried it yet? What would you use it for first?
